Photo taken mere days before the Flying Leathernecks Museum would be closed. Thankfully the museum has secured funding to move to Irvine, CA and reopen! Just criminal that the USMC Miramar leadership would deem their own history expendable and close the museum. To put it mildly, it disgusts me. Anyway, so thrilled that the City of Irvine is welcoming the Flying Leatherneck collection back and will host the museum in the future!
