Museo del Aire, Madrid- [1920px] // This Piper served the Spanish Air Force as a civilian aircraft with multiple roles. It started its life as part of the "Delegacion general de Educación Física y Deportes" (DND) and as a vigilance aircraft within customs as EC-CEP. It was later incorporated to the 42nd wing of the "Ejercito del Aire (EA)" in 1972, with operating base in Getafe, Madrid. There, it served as pilot training and as a means of transport for army personnel. Its final role was to train future mechanics before ending up at the Museo del Aire in Madrid.
