Port side view of RAAF 33 Flight Boeing 707-338C A20-624, in original white livery, awaiting pax loading at Butterworth WMKB Malaysia in March 1981 before a typical flight to Sydney YSSY. Two boarding stairs and two 75KVA Ground Power Units (GPUs) are in situ. The aircraft was doing a fortnightly ‘Personnel Rotation’ round trip which included Singapore WSSS and sometimes Darwin YPDN on the return leg. The aircraft had been ‘turned around’ overnight by 478 Sqn ‘General Aircraft Maintenance Section (GAMS), which handled ‘visiting aircraft’. (An RAAF 10 Sqn P-3B Orion is hiding behind the B707.)
